Arrow Rush — Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how Jogiba Gaming ("we", "us") handles information when you play Arrow Rush (the "Game") on Android, iOS or the web.
1. Summary
Arrow Rush is an offline-first arcade game: it is fully playable without an account or an internet connection, and your progress is always saved on your device. The Game also offers optional online features:
- Optional rewarded ads (Google AdMob) — you choose whether to watch one (section 4);
- Analytics and crash reporting (Google Firebase) to improve the Game (section 5);
- Optional cloud save with Google sign-in to back up progress across devices (section 6);
- Global leaderboards and weekly contests that publicly display a chosen player name and score (section 7);
- Optional paid subscriptions (Remove Ads, Extra Lives), processed by Google Play (section 8).
You can delete your cloud account and data at any time — see section 10 or the account deletion page.
2. Information stored on your device
The Game saves progress locally on your device, including: high scores, total scores, coins earned, games played, gameplay statistics (combos, perfect dodges, distance), unlocked achievements, daily-reward streaks, purchased cosmetics, and settings (music, sound, vibration). This local data:
- is not linked to your identity unless you enable cloud save (section 6);
- is deleted when you uninstall the Game or clear its app data.
3. Information we collect
We collect only what the optional features below need. If you never sign in and never submit a score, we hold no personal information about you. The Game contains no chat, no messaging, no media sharing and no friend lists; the only user-provided content is the optional display name shown on leaderboards (section 7). We never collect contacts, photos, precise location or phone numbers.
4. Advertising
The Game shows rewarded video ads (which you choose to watch, for example to continue a run) and other ad formats served by Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, Google may collect and process:
- device identifiers (such as the Android Advertising ID);
- ad interaction data (impressions, clicks);
- approximate device information (model, OS version, language) for ad delivery and fraud prevention.
This data is processed by Google under its own policies:
You can opt out of personalized advertising at any time in your device settings (Android: Settings → Google → Ads → Delete advertising ID or Opt out of Ads Personalization; iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking). Subscribers to a "Remove Ads" plan (section 8) are not shown ads.
5. Analytics, crash reporting and remote configuration
The Game uses Google Firebase (Analytics, Crashlytics and Remote Config) to help us understand aggregate gameplay, fix bugs and tune the Game. Firebase may collect:
- pseudonymous analytics events (e.g. sessions played, features used);
- device identifiers and coarse device information;
- crash logs and diagnostics (stack traces, device state at the time of a crash).
This data is aggregated and pseudonymous; we do not use it to identify individual players. Remote Config downloads game-tuning values and the latest published version number (used to suggest updates) to your device; it uses a pseudonymous Firebase installation identifier and no personal data. Firebase's data practices are described at firebase.google.com/support/privacy.
6. Cloud save and Google sign-in (optional)
Cloud save is off by default and requires Google sign-in:
- Google sign-in. If you tap Sign in with Google in Settings, we receive from your Google account: your email address, display name and a Google user ID. We use these only to link your save to your account so you can restore progress on any device.
- Without sign-in. The Game may still create an anonymous Firebase identity (a random user ID not linked to your name or email), but it is used only to publish leaderboard entries (section 7) — no progress backup is stored for anonymous players, and an anonymous identity cannot be recovered after an uninstall.
When cloud save is active, we store the gameplay progress listed in section 2 (scores, coins, stats, unlocked items, streaks — no messages, no media) in Google Cloud Firestore, keyed to your user ID. Data is encrypted in transit. Signing out keeps your progress on the device; deleting your account removes your cloud data permanently (section 10).
7. Leaderboards and weekly contests
If you play while online, the Game can submit your best scores to global leaderboards (all-time and weekly) and to the weekly contest, stored in Google Cloud Firestore. A leaderboard entry contains:
- your player display name — if you are signed in with Google this defaults to your Google account name; otherwise a neutral generated name (e.g. "Arrow1234") is used. You can change your display name at any time from the leaderboard screen;
- your best score, rank and score date, and the game mode it was achieved in;
- a premium badge flag — if you hold an active subscription (section 8), a small badge may be shown next to your name;
- your pseudonymous user ID (used to key the entry; never shown to other players).
Your display name, score, rank and premium badge are visible to all players of the Game. No other profile data — email address, purchase details, device data or gameplay statistics — is ever shown to other players. If you prefer not to appear on public leaderboards, set a nickname that does not identify you, or play offline / without signing in.
Contest rewards (in-game trophies and coins) are granted based on your final weekly rank. Deleting your account (section 10) removes your leaderboard and current contest entries; you can also ask us to remove an entry at any time by email.
8. Subscriptions and payments
The Game offers two optional subscription groups, sold through Google Play Billing:
- Remove Ads — disables all advertising while active;
- Extra Lives — grants extra "continue" lives during runs (up to 5 per game).
Payment details (card numbers, billing address) are handled entirely by Google Play — we never see or store them. We receive only pseudonymous purchase tokens needed to verify your entitlement. While a subscription is active, an entitlement flag may be stored with your cloud save and leaderboard entry (it powers the premium badge in section 7). Manage or cancel subscriptions anytime in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions.
9. Legal bases and data sharing
Where data processing applies, we rely on: consent (cloud save and Google sign-in, leaderboard participation, personalized ads where required by law), performance of a contract (subscriptions), and legitimate interest in operating, improving and funding a free game (analytics, crash reporting, fraud prevention). We do not sell personal data. Data is shared only with the Google service providers named above (AdMob, Firebase, Google Play), as necessary to provide these features. Leaderboard display (section 7) shows your chosen name and score to other players but involves no transfer of your data to any third party.
10. Your rights: access and deletion
You are in control of your data:
- Delete in the app: Settings → Cloud save → Delete cloud account permanently deletes your cloud save, your leaderboard and current contest entries, and the linked account. Progress on your device is kept.
- Delete on the web: step-by-step instructions are on the account deletion page — including how to request deletion by email if you can no longer access the app.
- Local data: uninstall the Game or clear its app data.
- Advertising data: reset your advertising identifier in device settings.
For any access, correction or deletion request, email jogibagames@gmail.com; we respond within 30 days and complete verified deletion requests within 30 days. Cloud account deletion is immediate in our database; residual copies in encrypted backups are purged within 180 days.
11. Children
Arrow Rush is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Ad serving uses Google's age-appropriate settings where applicable. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the Game, contact us at jogibagames@gmail.com and we will delete it.
12. Data retention
Local game data remains on your device until you delete it. Cloud save and leaderboard data is retained until you delete your account (section 10) or after extended inactivity. Past contest results are kept only as anonymous-by-then rank history once your entries are deleted. Ad and analytics data held by Google is retained under Google's policies. Purchase records are retained as required for tax and accounting law.
13. Security
Local data is stored using the platform's standard app-storage protections. All data transmitted to Google services (Firebase, Firestore, AdMob, Google Play) is encrypted in transit using industry-standard TLS. Cloud saves are protected by Firebase security rules so only your signed-in identity can read or write your data.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the Game evolves. Material changes will be reflected by a new effective date at the top of this page, and the in-store listing will always link to the current version.
